I was just blown away with all the information and story's about Owls. I have such a deep and abiding fascination with them. I am very grateful that we went and listened to the young woman who was so knowledgeable. thank you and thank you for this experience!!! We read about this facility a while back and thought it might be interesting. IT WAS! We arrived in time for the 1 pm presentation and it was very interesting. The presenter did a fantastic job. The town of Houston has really bought into the owl theme with carvings and sculptures .

It was a drive, and it was so worth it. Didn’t know anything about it, prior. Otherwise we would have left home earlier for the 11 presentation. They run an hour long & explain a lot of info, on local owls as well as national. Different sizes, different calls. The most important thing I will remember, do not poison mice, rats. When an owl eats that poisoned mouse, it stays in their system for 3 years.

We drove 2.5 hours to get here and it did not disappoint! The staff was helpful and educational and we got to see owls up close and personal. Reasonably priced to get in with a cute boutique. There is also a fun scavenger hunt of owl sculptures throughput town. So fun!
