Awesome experience for a family reunion. We learned about owls, while playing a fun game show style game.

We will go back tomorrow to see the live show, but they have a great gift shop and friendly person at the counter!!

Hooo (sorry I had to) would have thought that little Houston, MN would be on the map for this? Seriously amazing. Situated downtown, they have a handful of live owls and awesome staff to answer all of your questions. Lots of other owl related things - taxidermy, wings, how to help owls, owl collectors items on display, a kids reading/puppet area, and some of the most incredible owl artwork from around the world. The gift shop is fun and be sure to catch their events during the year - International Festival of Owls and Owl Awareness Day. Walk around town and you'll see love for owls everywhere!

The Center is small, but if you go during a program (several each day), you will learn a lot about owls. It's a good addition to a day trip. A few live owls, and activities for kids.

Didn't even know that this place existed! Worth a stop to learn about Owls. They have live Owls here for you to see (can't touch). Did you know that the smallest Owl is less than 5 inches tall?
